A little background about me… several years ago I took on the herculean task of opening a brick & mortar Comics & Gaming shop with my then-husband. We had zero experience but a ton of passion and (lucky for us) I have decent research skills (thanks Uni!).

A few months into our journey, I had ferreted out enough information to have registered our business with our local governing body, secured a domain and built a rudimentary website, found a location and persuaded the landlord to cut us a break on rent, and drafted a business plan to present to various lenders and grant committees.

But, my list of to-do’s was still growing; design a logo, get business cards, set up vendor accounts, get a business email account, get a business bank account, find an accountant, etc.

I learned a lot about business during that 3-year business experiment, that ultimately didn’t work out.

But more than that, I learned that I *love* business, and I *love* operations and administration of businesses. That didn’t come as a complete surprise — I used to play secretary for my dad when he was working away at his distance-Ed environmental science degree when I was a little girl. And, my first ‘real’ job was working front-counter reception and file clerk for a government body.

Fast-forward nearly a decade and here I am, running a very successful online business, working as a Business Manager and COO for multiple clients around the world. I have clients from a variety of backgrounds, with vastly differing businesses. The thing they all share is that they run their business primarily online, and are heart-centered change-makers, that I am thrilled to support.

I’m at a place now where my desire to support even more heart-centered clients outweighs the amount of time that I have. This quandary of mine has led to the creation several free and paid resources for solopreneurs, emerging entrepreneurs, and small businesses.

My only regret throughout these past 10+ years of working as a business manager and COO has been that I can’t help more people. This is why I created The Crafty Fox Framework, a self-study resource for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
