I’ve recently created a brand new offering: the Virtual Assistant Career Training Program.

I’m sure some of you are thinking, But what does a Virtual Assistant actually do?

This will vary a bit per client, but typically you will be tackling weekly/monthly/daily tasks, such as:

  • Website Maintenance & Updating

  • Social Media (content creation/posting/scheduling)

  • Customer Service (managing email inboxes)

  • Tracking & Analytics

  • Client/Customer Database Management

  • Scheduling/Calendar-Management

  • Sending out Newsletters to email lists

Most likely you will have multiple clients, so time-management for yourself is a key skill.

Now let’s do some quick math, because I know what you’re thinking: How much money can I make as a Virtual Assistant?

Well, the truth is, it depends how much you work/how many clients you have.

Let’s say you have 3 clients at 25 hours per month each. And let’s say that you charge $30/hr. That would put your monthly gross income at $2250. That would be 18-20 hours per week, so the equivalent of a part time job.

For full-time work, you’d double it, either with more hours per client, or more likely, double the amount of clients, which would have you at $4500 gross income per month ($54,000/yr).

The more experience you have, and the better training you have, the more you can charge for your hourly rate. And then, you can also work on a project basis for certain clients to fill in your income where you’d like to.

When my VA/OBM business was full-time client work only, I was bringing in $8500 per month, gross income.

How that you’d heard some more details about the job, if you’re interested in becoming a VA, I’m offering a free information session for the program.

During this information session:

  • I’ll give you a taste of the career training program

  • Show you the online learning place and private forum

  • Speak a bit about the nature of the job (Virtual Assistant) itself

  • Answer any pre-submitted or live questions you have about the training program

If you are considering joining this career training program and embarking on a career as a Virtual Assistant, I hope to see you in there!
